Description

The existing 22kV converter for the H- Source RF in Linac4 is a protoype converter assembled with spare part originating from a similar converter used in the 3MeV test stand, designed considering SPL specifications, and uses G64 electronics. A renovation/adaptation of this converter in L4 is necessary and aims to upgrade to FGC3 interface and improve Linac 4 operation by constructing an identical spare converter (today no spare).
